Child safety standards.

Flirk’s published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation: who may use Flirk, what is forbidden, how to report, what happens next, and who to contact.

Last updated 2 October 2026

These are Flirk’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to the Flirk app, to letsflirk.com, and to everyone who uses them.

Adults only

Nobody under 18 may use Flirk. We check age at signup and refuse anyone under 18, and the app is rated for adults only. An account found to belong to someone under 18 is closed.

Zero tolerance

We prohibit, absolutely, any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, grooms, solicits or endangers a child. That includes sexualised imagery or text involving a minor, any attempt to contact or arrange to meet a minor, and any request for or sharing of child sexual abuse material. It applies everywhere on Flirk, and breaking it ends the account immediately.

How to report

  • In the app: choose Report on any profile, chat or game, then Under 18.
  • By email, from inside or outside Flirk, to childsafety@letsflirk.com. Include the person’s first name and anything else that helps us find the account.

What happens next

We review every report and act promptly. Where we find child sexual abuse material, or conduct that endangers a child, we remove it, permanently ban the account, preserve the evidence, and report it to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities in India and to any other authority the law requires. We cooperate with lawful requests from those authorities.

Point of contact

Questions about these standards, from users, parents, researchers, app stores or authorities, go to childsafety@letsflirk.com. The person behind that address is responsible for child safety at Flirk.

The law

Flirk complies with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its Rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the duty to report child sexual abuse material and to process no personal data of a child.

These standards are also §9 of the Terms of use, and are binding under them.
